Our April 2020 meeting was cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns and restrictions.  We asked our membership to make a donation to a non-profit of their choice in lieu of our regular structure, and boy did they!

So many non-profits were recipients of donations: Maple Valley Food Bank and Emergency Services, Backpack Buddies of Maple Valley, Enumclaw Senior Center, Neighbors Feeding Neighbors-Hot Meal Delivery, Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation-Backpack Program, The Storehouse, Vine Maple Place, Adopt a Healthcare Worker, Shadow Lake Elementary School, Sunny Sky's Animal Rescue, Auburn Food Bank, Plateau Outreach Ministries, Footprints of Fight, See Ya Later Foundation, Maple Valley Warm Hearts and Hearths.  The total amount donated was $5,485 with many of those donations matched by different organizations.  It was not how we planned for our April meeting, but I'm so impressed with the amount raised and donated by our generous members!
